Book Room Project HOS supplies free classroom sets of Ayn Rand's novels to Houston area high schools for teachers who would like to assign the books for classroom study. We have donated over $10,000 for the program so far, and as a result 1830 books have been donated to local schools. Over the life cycle of the books, this should result in 18,300 students gaining exposure to Ayn Rand's novels. The Ayn Rand Institute also conducts an essay contest based on these books, with over $70,000 in scholarship money available for students. If you are a high school teacher interested in teaching one of Ayn Rand's novels, The Fountainhead or Anthem, please contact us for information about how to receive a free classroom set of books. |
